A new specialty buffet at the Vienna State Opera
Starting on November 26, the Gerstner buffet in the Gustav Mahler Hall will be transformed into a specialty buffet of delicious seasonal treats.
Treat your senses to Iberico Pata Negra ham, cut fresh on the traditional flywheel machine and served with olive ciabatta bread and capers, or sample fine venison terrine with porcini mushrooms and plum confit. Enjoy a luscious champagne cream served in a glass, or a delicious chestnut heart. We also serve perfectly paired wines from our wine cellar; savor a fine glass from our frequently changing selection.
Newly delivered from the porcelain factory, is the precious “Edition A. Gerstner 1847” series. It has been faithfully reproduced according to the original 19th century series, in royal blue with the Gerstner golden eagle logo.
